AI-powered audience understanding for Gladius

Satalia built an "Audience Brain" AI solution to help Gladius collect, segment, and monetise user data ahead of their major sports streaming launch.


Challenge

Gladius, a new platform blending traditional and e-sports, needed to capture and monetise user data as part of their unique free-streaming business model. With a major boxing event fixed as their launch, timing was non-negotiable.

The system had to integrate with a third-party app still under construction, and evolve rapidly as Gladius added new sports and audience types.


Solution

Satalia designed and delivered the Gladius Audience Brain in two phases: a proof of concept (PoC) followed by a minimum viable product (MVP). The Audience Brain segmented users, mapped them to relevant sports content, and built a dynamic User Data Graph enriched with sports-specific knowledge from APIs and research sources.

The result was a scalable AI system that gave Gladius a clear picture of its audiences, enabling hyper-specific targeting, data monetisation, and content personalisation: all delivered on time and under budget for the April launch event.
